Nursing (RN completion to BS) (RN req)

The Registered Nurse upgrade to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program prepares registered nurses (RNs) to meet the many changes in the healthcare field by expanding and enhancing their nursing education. Available only to registered nurses, this program prepares graduates for leadership roles and graduate study in nursing. The graduate is prepared to utilize theory and research-based knowledge in the provision of care to clients, families, and communities in a global society, with flexibility to adapt to the changing nature of healthcare and healthcare roles. The graduate is also prepared to integrate care across multiple settings, managing interactions between and among components of the integrated network of healthcare services. The graduate will be prepared for positions in community-health clinics, private practice, hospitals, and patient-care facilities. Associate of Nursing Degree students from affiliated schools may be enrolled concurrently.
